Kyrgyzstan

In August 2025, Yasmine, along with collaborator, Kelly Kessen and videographer, Abdulrahman Saleh, journeyed through Kyrgyzstan to document the living wisdom of semi-nomads — a three-week expedition across vast grasslands, mountain passes, and remote villages. Immersed in the rhythms of herders, artisans, and eagle hunters, the journey explored how harmony with land and community can shape a more balanced way of being in the modern world.

This project marked the next chapter in Yasmine’s storytelling journey, following her record-setting Iceland expedition. It deepened her mission to bridge worlds through story, illuminating how ancestral knowledge, ritual, and everyday life can guide us toward a more connected and conscious future.

Part of an upcoming docu-series to be released in Spring 2026, this film continues her exploration of nature based ways of living and our re-belonging to ourselves and to the earth.
