Powerful documentary storytelling rooted in ancestral knowledge and regenerative futures

A research-driven media ecosystem spanning film, podcast, and field expeditions that translates Indigenous and nature-based wisdom into actionable cultural value for modern societies.

WHO I AM

I am Yasmine. My work sits at the intersection of culture, consciousness, and human development. I travel to communities whose ancestral knowledge systems hold relevance for our evolving world, producing narratives that help societies reconnect with meaning, identity, and purpose.

My practice bridges anthropology, narrative design, and lived experience. It speaks to institutions seeking depth, authenticity, and long-term cultural impact.

We are living in a transition era. Many societies face fragmentation, loss of cultural continuity, and an absence of shared purpose. My work investigates how ancient wisdom can support modern life, offering frameworks that strengthen collective identity, expand imagination, and restore coherence between people and place.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

Institutions and governments are confronting rising challenges:

  • Erosion of shared identity and cultural memory

  • Disconnection from land, lineage, and inherited knowledge

  • Declining trust in media and public narratives

  • Youth uncertainty around belonging, purpose, and direction

  • A shortage of stories that unite rather than divide

Without strong cultural narratives, people forget who they are — and societies lose their sense of direction.

My storytelling addresses these gaps by offering narratives that ground people in memory, belonging, and the possibilities of a more harmonious future.

FIELDWORK AND STORY ECOSYSTEM

This work is built from direct, immersive engagement with communities and landscapes.

Kyrgyzstan

An exploration of nomadic cosmologies and intergenerational knowledge systems.

Iceland Expedition

A 1,400 km journey completed as the first Arab woman to cycle around Iceland. This expedition established my methodology: embodied inquiry, endurance, and deep observation.

Podcast

Conversations focused on healing, purpose, and human consciousness as tools for navigating change.

Each medium serves a single aim: producing stories with long-term cultural value.

UNIQUE MECHANISM

The methodology is guided by a distinct storytelling approach::

  • Immersive field research with Indigenous and nature-based communities

  • Cross-cultural synthesis of ancestral frameworks

  • Narrative translation through documentary film and long-form dialogue

  • Public dissemination designed to engage youth, policymakers, and global audiences

This mechanism ensures both authenticity and scalability.
